At MicroTechnologies, quality is not a department, it's a way of life. We have moved quality control out to the production and assembly stations by training and certifying our operators as operator/inspectors. We rely on Statistical Process Control (SPC) to detect variations from the desired nominal as they occur, and take corrective action to keep variations within tight parameters.

ISO 9001 CertifiedAll critical quality parameters are identified during the design process, and all required test methods are in place before production starts. Then, Quality Control Auditors selectively monitor operations on each station throughout the life of the program. The monitoring program, as with all other production processes, is never compromised.

At MicroTechnologies, product quality assurance begins with the Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) process. This process incorporates the Design and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), coupled with a Process Flow Chart, and a Quality Control Plan. These tools help identify and prevent possible failure modes for tool building and product fabrication.

MicroTechnologies quality system is designed to meet our customers specifications and the guidelines of ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003. The quality system is documented in our quality manual, and with quality assurance procedures that demonstrate conformance to individual QS-9000/ISO/TS 16949 9001 system elements.
